Product Description
KIDS HAVE FUN PLAYING THIS GAME AND WHAT A GREAT WAY TO ENGAGE STUDENTS IN LEARNING AND DEVELOPING ARTICULATION SKILLS! A Jeopardy-like game that targets /l/, /s/. /r/ ,/sh/, /ch/, and /th/ .
This product is a jeopardy-like game that can be used during small group therapy sessions of 2 to 6 students. It can be used with groups working on the same target sound as well as those groups where your students target sounds are all different. Just print game boards and monster picture cards on cardstock, laminate for durability and you are ready to go!!

DIRECTIONS:
Materials:
Print out one Monster Mania game board for each student on cardstock. Laminate for durability.
Print out Monster Cards- Laminate for durability and cut apart. Each student will need one set of 35 of their own monster cards.
Print out questions for those target sounds being addressed during your therapy session. Multiple target sounds can be addressed while playing this game.
Game play:
Give each student one Monster Mania game board. Each student can then select the monster they would like to play with during the game and will then receive 35 monster cards with that monster pictured on it.
The first player chooses a letter and an amount…i.e. “M” for 300. Tell students that 100 points are the easiest questions and 500 points are the most difficult questions to answer. The therapist then reads a question from the set of target sound questions in the amount that the student picked. The student must then answer the question . If correct with good articulation the student places their monster on that spot on their game board. For added difficult the student can be asked to use the word in a sentence after answering the question. If incorrect no monster is placed. The player to the right then takes his/ her turn doing the same.
When time is up the students add up the points under the monsters they placed on their game boards. The student with the most points wins!
