Playing The Game:
OPTION #1- TOWER BUILDING
Once the cards are shuffled, the dealer should deal one circle picture card to each player keeping the cards facedown. Place the rest of the deck in the center of the table in a draw pile and turn over the top card. This will be the draw pile
All players flip over their cards at the same time and try to see the one picture that appears both on the center draw card pile and their own card. If any player can “SEE IT!” ( the picture that appears on both cards), he/she should “SAY IT!” ( the name of the picture) out loud. The player that calls the name of the matching picture out first and is correct then takes the center draw card and places it face-up on top of their flipped card, building their own pile of cards. That player then uses the new top card on their pile to find a match with the new center draw card. Repeat this process each time a new center card is shown. Play continues until no cards remain in the center draw pile or time runs out.
The player with the most cards is the winner!!!!!
OPTION #2-- Empty the Well
Once the cards are shuffled, the dealer should place one card face-up in the middle of the table. Deal the remaining cards face-down to all the players. These are now each players own draw cards.
At the same time, all players flip their entire draw piles over so they are now face-up. The first player to see an identical picture on both their own top card and the center card, SAYS IT! ( the name of the picture i.e. “ sun!”) and then places his/her card on top of the center card. The next card in the players pile now becomes the new card for him/her to find a match with the new center card. Play continues until one player runs out of cards
The player to run out of cards or has the least amount of cards in a given time period is the winner!!!!!
OPTION #3-- TRIPLES
Once the cards are shuffled, the dealer should place all cards face-down in a draw pile. The the dealer should place none cards face-up on the table in 3 equal rows.
At the same time, all players try to find a matching picture on any 3 cards. The same picture must be present on all three cards to make a matching set. As soon as any player sees a matching set of three they should “SAY IT” (example “salt”)and then collects the 3 matching cards and puts them in their own pile on the side. The dealer then replaces the three cards with three new ones from the draw pile. The players then try to find another match on any 3 cards. Play continues in this manner until there are fewer than 9 cards left in the draw pile or time runs out .
The player with the most cards is the winner!!!!
