For each day, there are spaces for the students to fill in the words, and then to do the work for that day. For younger grades, maybe you could write them in for them and then make copies.
(Each day allows for 30 words. If you do not have that many words, you could take a page or two out.)
Monday- Write the words 3 times each
Tuesday- "Spelling Math"- Students will use the space provided to calculate how much the word is worth
(might not be as good for younger grades)
I love this day because it incorporates Math into Spelling!
(This takes students the longest to work on.)
Wednesday- Rainbow Words (Students write their words in different colors, using red for the vowels.)
Thursday- Write sentences for your words
FRIDAY- nothing (I don't assign spelling homework for Friday)
Friday is usually the spelling test itself.
