Addition and Subtraction to 20 Directions
Start by copying the cards on card stock and laminating them. I create two separate sets, and place a colored dot on the back of the cards for each set. This way they will not get mixed up. Copy, laminate and cut.
Shuffle all of the cards together and place them in the middle of the group. Each player takes turns picking a card off of the top of the pile. If the student turns over a math problem, they must answer the math problem correctly in order to keep the card. The objective of the game is to collect the most cards. If a student turns over a SPLAT card, they must put all of their cards at the bottom of the pile. The student with the most cards at the end of the game wins.
