These Kassie Bailey language activities are designed to assist students in learning irregular past tense, "who" questions, and opposites.
Slides 3-7: Print and laminate these present and irregular past tense cards to use in a matching game. For an expressive task, show students the present tense and have them label the irregular past.
Slides 8-14: Print/laminate all pages and cut into cards. Read “who” question cards to students and they use the fly swatters to swat the flies on the corresponding answer. Either take turns, or the student who collects the most answers wins!
Slides 15-19: Print/laminate all pages targeting opposites and cut into cards to use for a matching game. For an expressive task, show students the present tense and have them label the irregular past tense.
Slides 21-23: This activity may be used during expressive tasks for past tense or opposites. Students take turns drawing cards. The student with the most points at the end wins!
