This Spring ELA Centers pack is packed full of spring themed centers for those skills that like to slip away from our kiddos as we turn the corner into the home stretch of the school year!
**Also, as per request, some activities have 2 sets of cards/posters. One set includes a color version, and I've included a second set that is more ink friendly. The ink friendly sets aren't completely black and white, but they will definitely be more kind to your printer! :)

1) Crackin' Contractions (and an anchor chart!)
pages3-9 (ink friendly set pages 10-15)
Students will "crack" the contraction into two! Students will match each contraction to its cracked pieces. (the words that make up the contraction) Students will record their contractions and contraction parts on their response sheet.

2)Let it Be, Bee! - Homophones
pages 17-25 - Homophone ANCHOR CHART and SCOOT cards!
(ink friendly set pages 26-33)
Students will SCOOT from card to card to complete each sentence with the correct homophone. Students are given the pair of homophones to choose from for each card. They will record their answer on their response sheet.

3) Windy Word Building
pages 37-48 - 5 sets of springtime words to use for word building or word making. Students will use letter tiles in each set to build as many words as they can. They will also build the *WIND*ERFUL WORD using all letter tiles in the set. Students will record the words they build on their response sheet. Can be used as a center or as an independent word building or word work activity.

4) Ducks in a Row

Students will arrange spring themed vocabulary words in ABC order. Record all 18 words in ABC order on response sheet.
