This bundle includes the following six SPRING worksheets:
Students will have to use their knowledge of spring (and probably some help from the internet) to answer 15 trivia questions. Once they've answered all of the questions, they will be able to unscramble the final answer to the question at the bottom of the page.
*FACT OR OPINION
Students must read the sentences and decide if each one is a fact or an opinion. Once they have labeled each sentence, they will be able to figure out the missing word at the bottom of the page.
Students must read the sentences and decide which type of figurative language is being used.
They must choose from the following:
The last two lines are for students to write their own examples of figurative language.
Students must read descriptions of text and decide what the author's purpose is:
- to inform
- to entertain
- to persuade
- to reflect
At the bottom of the page, there is a section in which they must choose one of the description and write a paragraph based on that author's purpose.
*ADJECTIVES & ADVERBS (this worksheet is available for FREE in my store)
Students must read each of the 10 sentences, then underline the adjectives and circle the adverbs. At the bottom of the page, there are five sentences, which they must rewrite with their own adjectives and adverbs.
*PRONOUNS & ANTECEDENTS
Students must read each of the 10 sentences, then underline the pronouns and circle the antecedents. At the bottom of the page, they must write five sentences using the pronouns and antecedents that are provided.
