Describe key events leading up to American involvement in World War II; include the Lend-Lease Act and the bombing of Pearl Harbor. b. Evaluate the purpose and economic impact of the Bell Bomber Plant, military bases, and the Savannah and Brunswick shipyards. c. Explain the economic and military contributions of Richard Russell and Carl Vinson.

Directions: Roll the die or Spin the spinner. Answer the question or perform statement based on the outcome of your roll.

  • This activity can used as stations (2) or printed out so students can work in pairs on in rotating groups.

Materials Needed: Die and Color Spinner (red, blue, green, yellow). If you do not have a die and spinner, just cut out slips of paper numbered 1-6 and with the colors above listed and have students pick from a container when answering the question.
