I made this activity for students who demonstrate fronting ("s" for "sh"). This activity allows you to see if your student can hear the difference between "s" and "sh." Print and laminate the first page. Then you can read out the words and have the student point to which sound he or she has heard. Alternatively, cut out pictures and laminate so that student can place picture cards into "s" and "sh" piles.
Note: "s" is the "snake sound" and "sh" is the "quiet sound."
