This product is a six week DAILY projectable review of essential reading skills. Different skills are covered each day, but the same skills are covered each week. With this product, you get a total of THIRTY activities that cover highly tested reading skills!
The breakdown of daily skills is as follows:
- Main Idea Monday: Students identify the topic and main idea of a short selection.
- Character Trait Tuesday: Students identify traits of a character and use evidence to back up their finding
- What’s the Theme? Wednesday: Students will decide the theme of a short selection and cite evidence to back their finding.
- Think Deep Thursday: Students will form an inference based on a scenario and picture evidence.
- Find the Clue Friday: Students will use context clues to find the meaning of an unknown word.
This product is made to be projected onto a whiteboard, projector screen or smart board.
- Students can write answers onto sticky notes OR an answer page for the entire week is included.
- Sentence stems are provided for each page. Sentence stems help students write in complete sentences and remember to cite evidence.
- An answer key is included, but please remember answers will vary as the questions are open ended!
