Star Behavior Reward Card
This card can be utilized as you need for rewarding the behavior(s) of your choice with a student. You know that student... the one who is a challenge in so many different ways? S/he could be the attention-getting, defiant, aggressive, or just non-compliant. Or s/he has issues with impulse control or following directions. That is one of the great things about this reward card! It can be used for an almost unlimited number of behaviors that you want to track, reward, or document. It can be used as a one-day / one line combination, or you can put the date on which the student earned his or her reward. And there is NO ONE who hates the foil stars! Shoot! I even like getting them! : ) You will find that you are using these for many different students, or at least that is what I found after I made them.
Print out on either paper or tagboard.
Conference with the student regarding the behaviors that you are looking to see. When you observe the student exhibiting the behavior, have him or her place a star on the card.
This works best if the student is working toward a reward of some type that has been pre-arranged before the card is given to him or her.
This makes a great General Education Intervention (SIT) and helps to provide the documentation that you need to track progress.
