Come experience fossils on an interactive level. Fossils are categorized by definition and images: CAST, MOLD, ORIGINAL REMAINS, REPLACED REMAINS, TRACE, and LIVING.
Specific state fossils are also addressed in an activity that kids really love. The states covered are: Pennsylvania, New York, Alaska, Colorado, Wyoming, California, Arizona, and Georgia.
This works well for any level but is GREAT for special education students or college prep learners that need an alternative assessment and may not be great at traditional labs.

This has been used as a pre-class and lab/activity. This is an effective teaching tool one on one, in small groups, and as a class when using a Smart Board/Promethean Board/Projection.
