This set of task cards provides practice analyzing line plots after students have been introduced to the concept.
Included are 10 task cards with questions about the line plots. There are five different plots and two questions for each line plot.
Two sets of cards are included for printing in color or black ink only.
There are also three methods for recording answers.
OPTION 1: One page includes three sheets (to save paper) each student gets a third of the sheet on which students fill-in short answers.
OPTION 2: If you choose to have students write answers in complete sentences or to justify their response, this recording option can be used.
OPTION 3: The third recording option is a multiple choice format on which students choose the correct response.
The cards print well in color, or grayscale, preferably on card stock.
Print and cut along the dashed lines.
Laminate the cards to use them repeatedly.
Store the task cards in an envelope or baggie
Task cards are GREAT for math stations, SCOOT, exit passes, flash cards.
There are several ways to implement the cards; whole class (projected with document camera) or small group (using collaboration, varying abilities).
