Can our classroom build a sculpture out of empty milk cartons?
Materials: (per classroom)
Empty milk cartons (school cafeteria ones)
Hot glue gun (adult use only)
Graph paper (1 cm size)
Brown paper towels (for papier mache effect)
Tub of water (to wash out cartons)
Bulletin board paper (to dry out cartons on)
This packet contains all the information you need to make this a great engineering activity in your classroom! Lab sheets, student and teacher instructions, and challenge signs are all included! Using simple and cheap materials, you can engage your students in the engineering process!
