STEM Action Time!
What’s in Your Cupboard?
Got Cardboard Tubes?
Need a STEM lesson RIGHT NOW! No time to gather materials? Have you been saving empty cardboard toilet paper rolls? We suggest 18 rolls per group. Add masking tape, a marble, a blank wall you are ready to go. Students will use their problem solving and collaboration skills as they work to solve the challenge of creating a six foot marble track.
Simple plans and simple materials, but a great hands-on STEM activity! Packet Includes student handouts, teacher notes, a reflection page, a rubric, role cards, inquiry questions, and the engineering design process poster.
