This is a great hands on unit for K-2 students that is aligned with ELA CCSS, and Next Generation Science Standards for Engineering & Design. Students will read "10 Apples Up On Top", and dconduct an experiment to see how many apples they can balance on top of a cup with the use of toothpicks, and with toothpicks.
