Elementary STEAM or STEM Challenges are fun for all ages! From Kindergarten to fifth grade, grab a buddy class and jump into the Spaghetti Tower Challenge Free Preview. This unit is designed for one lower elementary class working with one upper elementary class. It is possible for you to do this project on your own, but the worksheets are designed for some assistance from the older buddy.
Spaghetti Tower Challenge Free Preview is a fun and quick activity where students will be given set amount of materials and time, and they will have to create the tallest tower that they can. I love to keep the materials for this lesson around so that it can be used as an emergency sub plan, or as a filler at any time.
This unit is designed to take approx. 1 hour session. If you are following my year long bundle, this is not included, but can be used in place of computer coding in January if you choose to not use it as a backup plan.
