Product Description
This is a great hands on unit for 4th-5th grade students that is aligned with ELA and Math CCSS, and Next Generation Science Standards for Engineering & Design. Students will complete 2 parts to this activity over a 3 day period. Students will test the insulation abilities of different materials, and will design and build a lunchbox using the materials tested.

***Please note additional materials are needed for this activity***
Box with lid per student (ideally a cardboard box), Crisco, plastic Ziploc bags (sandwich size), cotton balls, tin foil, bubble wrap, tape, glue, scissors.
