Description
I teach an Applied STEM course, and as one of my semester exam options, students can elect to write a paper on a STEM career. In their paper, they must describe the career and how it's a STEM career, and then they must explain how five of the 16 Habits of Mind (identified by Costa & Kallick) relate specifically to the career.
While I use this as an exam, it would be great to include in any STEM course at any time of year.
