Hurry, Hurry, and Step Right Up, PROBLEM INVESTIGATORS!
The town of STEM-a-Lot is planning a carnival ! Of course every carnival needs a
Merry-Go-Round and your students in grades 4-7 will be asked to design one. Using simple materials that can be found at the grocery store, teams of students will use their knowledge of physical science principals to build a rotating prototype. Included in the lessons are student pages, a design process poster, a rubric, and lots of teacher notes and helpful hints.
