Description
If you have been studying landforms this is the STEM Challenge for you! Students are challenged to create a scene showcasing landforms and they must design each model! They will enjoy this activity and you will love the detailed teacher's guide!
What is the challenge?
- Students will be designing a model of landforms of their choice.
- The landscape must include at least 10 landforms.
- Teams must take care that adjoining landscapes would occur side by side in nature.
- Finally, students will label the landforms and present their models to the class.
➡️Note: This package does not contain specific lessons about landforms. It is intended to be used as a follow-up or culminating activity for your study.
What is your prep?
You will need some supplies! An extensive list is concluded in the resource as suggestions. We used a lot of craft items, tape, pipe cleaners, craft sticks, various cups, modeling dough, and construction paper. Again, the supplies you use are entirely our choice. (Use your scrap box!)
This package specifically includes:
- Background page

- 4 pages of Step-by-Step Teacher Directions
- Extensions page
- Photo page
- Constraints of the Task page in two styles- in color and black/white
- 2-page lab sheet with sample answers
