Product Description
In this winter-themed STEM challenge, students design a system to get a snowman's head to its body.

This activity challenges students to call on most of the Standards of Mathematical Practices, as well as to write clearly for a specific purpose. It reinforces the idea of things - and people - working together, and introduces the Rube Goldberg Machine, which takes this idea to a humorous extreme.

If you follow Hedgehog Reader on Instagram, you've seen how much my fourth graders love our STEAMy Wednesdays each week!
