This STEM conduction (states of matter) lab exposes students to the true nature of research in the form of CER (Claim Evidence and Reasoning) for experiencing the results of conduction utilizing everyday materials in a real-world experience . Students will have to make a hypothesis within their journal, document evidence and support their final claim with evidence. This lab allows students to first experience the overall driving phenomenon and start using logic and reason to figure out why it occurs. This STEM lab includes suggested uses with teacher notes, extension suggestions, journal with recording sheets, inquiry lab with directions, and reflection sheet. Earn TPT credit by leaving feedback.
