Low-Prep STEM Challenge
Need a quick STEM activity that only uses marshmallows and dry pasta? Challenge your student groups to design, plan, and build the tallest tower. This is the perfect activity to do with classroom buddies. When we matched up 4th graders and 2nd graders, we saw amazing results! Add height goals and you have a great measurement integration project. Add a budget and you have a money problem to solve as well. When you discuss the strength of various shapes, geometry becomes part of the challenge.
More quick STEM activities are in our bundle for CSI- Creative STEM Investigators
