This STEM activity invovles high level problem solving with fractions. Using the problem of establishing a new garden, students are challenged with the mathematical task of making equivalent fractions, decimals, and percents in order to extend a numerical sequence. Students must use a variety of mathematical skills and problem solving techniques to complete all 3 phases of the project. This flipchart and worksheet can be used as a whole group, small group, or enrichment activity. Highly engaging and motivating your students will enjoy such a challenge!
