Description
Football Goalposts and Kicking Devices! Total fun! This is one of a trio of STEM challenges recently completed that all involve a sport. Are you ready for some football?
This challenge is available in money-saving bundles.
What is the challenge?
In this challenge, students will
- design and build a goal post that must be a specific size
- create a device that will kick the football through the uprights!
- Groups will divide into the goal post team and the kicking team
- enjoy trying to kick the ball through the goalposts!
What is your prep?
You will need supplies in addition to this package. This includes Straws, Card stock, Craft sticks in 2 sizes, Rubber bands, Pipe cleaners, Masking tape, Small lightweight object for testing- optional, and Small football or ping pong ball.
