PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A great hands-on activity for primary grade children! The procedure and set up for the experiment are described as students compare the strength of different brands of tissue using the scientific method.

The data table to record the number of pennies needed to rip the tissue is provided as is a large-font numerical list from 1-30 for young children to reference. Older students can graph the results in the provided graph paper. Both can be a stand-alone assignment or can be incorporated into an interactive lab notebook.

Children enjoy seeing the pennies crash into the cup!
