This lesson connects the topic of matter with something kids love-popcorn! In this lesson, students make observations to see if they can figure out what makes popcorn pop. Then they design their own testable question in order to do some more research. Lesson integrates the use of the reading strategy It Say, I Say, and So in order to make inferences.
