This STEM inquiry lab on plant's leaves exposes students to the true nature of research in the form of CER (Claim Evidence and Reasoning) for determining why flowers or plants need their stems. Students will have to make a hypothesis within their journal, document evidence and support their final claim with evidence. This lab allows students to first experience the overall driving phenomenon and start using logic and reason to figure out why it occurs. This STEM lab includes suggested uses with teacher notes, journal with recording sheets, inquiry lab with directions, and reflection sheet. Earn TPT credit by leaving feedback.
