Description

Here’s a perfect STEM challenge to use at the end of your study of Animal Adaptations. Students will build a three-dimensional model of an animal of their choice and showcase its adaptation. This is a great learning experience for everyone.

What is the challenge?

This is a Quick Challenge. Detailed instructions are not included, although you will find that in STEM Challenges and STEM Activities from Teachers are Terrific! Rather, this exploration is just that- an exploration time with limited supplies and spectacular results! Your students will love the freedom of a quick challenge as they get right to work and learn as they go!

What is your prep?

Materials needed for the STEM Challenge include cardboard tubes, straws, pipe cleaners, scrap construction paper, craft sticks, and masking tape. You can also add a variety of craft items that you have on hand.

The package specifically contains:
