Students observe videos of different animals and answer questions related to structure and function & cause and effect. ELA connections to Speaking and Listening; Asking and Answering Questions; Shared Research; Collaboration; Informational Texts; Fiction; Fact vs. Opinion; Report of Information; and more! Each lesson also provides the opportunity for a short art lesson connected to animals and their natural habitats. There are specific lessons for Halloween/Fall; Easter/Spring; Valentine's Day; and Thanksgiving. Altogether there are 32 days of lessons.
