Your students will be engaged designing Pinterest Pins demonstrating different viewpoints of different cultures.
Teach your students the skills to be successful in a fast changing world by using the design cycle to prototype Pinterest Pins to best demonstrate different perspectives.
My aim is to provide teachers with a simple, easy to implement resource requiring minimal materials, that engages, excites and challenges students while acquiring the skills for success in a fast changing world.
Why a design challenge?
Design challenges ask students to design a solution to a problem. Sometimes the problem is given and sometimes students have to identify the problem first before they design possible solutions. Design challenges naturally teach students how to create, ask questions, iterate, problem solve, adapt, collaborate, use a world view, and build resilience and grit. These are all skills that will be in high demand in the fast changing world students will be graduating into.
Picture your students applying curriculum to a real world problem.
Print off the Design Challenge booklet and staple together to give to students. Students follow the challenge to learn about "One's Own and Others Viewpoints" while designing a prototype to solve a real world problem.
