The Ladybug STEAM unit is a way to excite and encourage young kiddos to explore and investigate, using science, technology, engineering, art and math.
The STEAM activities include the following:
*An informational reading and writing component on ladybugs
*Science—exploring ladybugs and temperatures differences experiment
*Technology—conducting an inquiry on ladybugs
*Engineering—building and creating a ladybug
*Art—using medium to create a project and productive thinking activity
*Math—solving problems/sharing data and a glyph
These STEAM activities are designed to be for whole class or small groups. We have included many kiddo recording forms with questions to promote thinking and reflecting.
