STEM Snowball Saver is a fun STEM engineering challenge with a winter theme. Students will construct an insulated box to keep a snowball or ice cube from melting. This activity is designed to encourage critical thinking and scientific reasoning skills, as well as, problem solving and teamwork.

-variety of building materials (Styrofoam, cotton balls, aluminum foil, felt, foam, packing peanuts, and other random supplies from around the house or classroom)
