Product Description
Primarily aimed for teachers of students in grades kindergarten through second, “STEM For Young Learners: Fruit” presents jam-packed projects for budding scientists, mathematicians and engineers. These activities help you make and create wonderful classroom experiences. Students will use the theme of fruit as a springboard. They will grow pineapples as a science lesson, present a fruit slide show as a technology component, engineer fruit vehicles and add and divide fruits to play the math game “Fruit Divide”. The projects and lessons provide enjoyable learning experiences in a variety of environments: a traditional classroom, home schooling, ESL classes, gifted and talented programs, after-school programs and extracurricular clubs. The arts are incorporated in the lessons and add STEAM to the activities that encourage creative and inventive thinking skills as learners build knowledge
