PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

In this NGSS/STEM lesson, students explore feelings vs. fact when it comes to the temperatures of household objects.

Students use thermal thermometer strips to measure the temperatures of objects that feel like they're different temperatures and then present their findings to the class for a Socratic seminar review.

Students learn that their hands are liars, and that conductors feel colder than insulators, but not because they're different temperatures.
