Sight Word Walls - 3 sizes included, in both colour and B&W. Perfect to send home or display in a writing centre.
Sight Word Rings - Punch the word cards and place on a ring for an easy-to-grab practise set.
Checklist - Add your students’ names down the side to track their sight word knowledge progress.
19 Hands-On Centres!
Search and Find - Use counters or another manipulative to cover the matching sight words.
Mould It! - Use play dough, sand or any other manipulatives to form the sight words.
Dot It! - Use q-tips and paint or small dot markers to form each word.
Clip It! - 2 sizes included. Write the matching letters on wooden pegs, or attach the apple letters to them and spell the sight words.
Building Sight Words - Cut around the pirates and treasure chests. Place in a pocket chart or in a tray for students to build each word.
Snap Cube Words - Use snap or multilink cubes to form each word.
Roll and Cover - Use the die included or place the word cards in a pocket die. Roll and cover the matching word.
Match Them Up! - Use the code at the top of the page to cover the sight words.
Swat It! - Give each child a mat. Call out one word at a time and have the children ‘swat’ the correct word on their mat.
Sight Words Under the Sea - Children take turns to roll a die, move a counter and read the matching word. For each word the read correctly, each child takes one shell. The winner at the end has the most shells.
Royal Maze - Use cubes or another manipulative to cover the matching sight words through the maze.
Spin and Graph - 2 sets included for 6 or 3 words. Spin the spinner and write the matching word in the graph.
Sorting Sight Words - Sort the monsters to their correct beds to hide under.
Memory Cards - Students can use the included cards to play memory, matching or snap card games in pairs.
Rainbow Write - Students can either use dice or a spinner to choose a colour, draw a sight words and write it in the matching colour.
Fishing for Sight Words - Choose a sight word card, read it and write it down.
Unscramble It! - Choose a sight word card, identify the scrambled word and write it on a whiteboard or build it with magnetic letters.
Build it! - Use dough, Wiki Stix or other manipulatives to build the sight word, then use a marker to add the missing letters.
All About the Word… - Complete the various activities to show, find anad write each sight word.
Read It! - 8 sight word sentences to laminate and have students read and write.
Let’s Read! - 2 easy sight word readers in colour and black and white.
