This lesson looks at how to calculate the surface area of 2D and 3D shapes (referring to nets of shapes), using formulae to calculate the volume of prisms, solving worded problems and applying algebra to find unknown lengths. It also offers many questions for the tutor to pick from depending on the needs of the class along with answers supplied after every click.
I hope this PowerPoint reduces the need to print and offers a good source of revision. Learning aims are also included so students can measure their level of understanding and success in class. A lesson I have enjoyed teaching!
