It is a must that students have demonstrated the ability to place their body parts on the equipment (not thrown, fallen or crashed onto the equipment). They should also be able to make a safe transition into and out of a roll. It does not have to be a forward roll. Students should demonstrate they can control their transition onto and off of low equipment using feet only before they begin practicing with any other transitional movement onto and off low equipment
