Dribbling is the most critical of all soccer skills. It is the foundation for learning soccer. Demonstrating how to dribble using the correct part of the foot and using both feet is important. Provide enough practice space so students can dribble the ball/bean bag without being too concerned with others. Emphasize alternating their feet from the start. Emphasize using the front portion of the instep of the foot to dribble. However, students will eventually need to learn to use the inside and outside of the foot.
