This activity addresses plurals as well as articulation. It is for printing out on heavier paper (so as not to see the pictures through the paper), cutting out, and then matching the parts of the snowmen. One "ball" of each snowman has a singular noun, the next has the plural form (ending in /s/ or /z/), and a sentence using the singular form is located on each snowman's hat. Have your students write the plural form in a sentence and attach to the bottom of the snowman as shown within the directions. Colorful illustrations and free, public-domain clip art are used to attract students' attention.
