The students will learn questions they should ask themselves before they decide to do something that cause them harm.
The students will understand what to do when at home to stay safe, including:Fire safety, checking in with their parents, always taking the same way home, do not answer the door or phone, unless instructed by parents,don't leave the house, lock the doors, do not have friends over to visit and do not cook anything while alone. Complete safety instructions on what to do if there is a fire.
Students will learn what to do to stay safe while outside the home, including: Gun safety, Stranger Danger, not to alone at a friends house with an adult there, do not play in isolated areas,never go near fireworks of any kind, do not attempt to go swimming without permission and an adult in attendance, how to walk home and cross the street safely.
