Description

Do your students roll their eyes and groan when you tell them it's time to find the unit rate? Of course they do.

But they won't if you use this fun, Safe Cracker worksheet!

Students can become world famous safe crackers! When old aunt Pennypincher leaves you her fortune, she wants to be sure it goes to someone wise in the ways of math. Your students will use the clues and their skills finding unit rates to help crack the safes.

Students are given three "clues", which are unit rate problems. The answers become the numbers in the safe combinations. When the three clues are solved, the safe is cracked! There are a total of 15 problems, but they are grouped into 5 "combinations", so your students will look at this as a 5 question assignment.

The rewards include: valuable artwork, safe deposit box keys, a beach house, an original copy of the Constitution, and more!

Make unit rate problems fun with this activity! Want more? You can also get this item as part of the 6-in-1 Unit Rate Bundle.

Your students will love these fun, engaging activities using unit rates!
