Created by Jan McCleskey, MA, OTR from The Handwriting Clinic. The outline trace font works extremely well to visually cue students to trace letters in the correct sequence. This file has a starting point and an arrow to cue the direction to trace or copy. Simple boxes below make copying simple. Students trace and then copy, progressing from large letters, to smaller letters. No handwriting lines! Many students just have a hard time writing within handwriting lines. They DO need to however, start to write letters progressively smaller. This handwriting program is perfect, and the outline trace letters have been used with students with autism and special needs for years at The Handwriting Clinic, in Richardson, Texas. Now the activities are available on TPT as progressive worksheets with different levels.

The 3 levels for upper case, and 5 levels for lower case progress from tracing, to copying letters, to copying words, to copying sentences with picture/word support! Also, fine motor files are embedded into the worksheets. Perfect for daily work, morning work packets, etc.
