This lesson is a forty minute segment that features students role play the trial of Sarah Good being accused of Witchcraft. Students will be directly instructed for the first portion on the lesson, learning about the mass hysteria in Salem in the 1690's that lead to 27 men and women being put to death on the conviction of witchcraft. Following this, students will put themselves into the shoes of a citizen of Salem Massachusetts, witnessing the trial of Sarah Good and determining if they believe she is guilty or not with a Verdict Exit Ticket.
