Assess your student sales tax, tip, and discount calculation skills while at a sit-down restaurant! Students complete this project while at a restaurant (after ordering and before receiving food, and after paying for their meal). This project aligns nicely with the Sales Tax, Tip, and Discount Lesson Units found in my store.
There is a rubric, step-by-step section for calculating sales tax, tip, and discount. There are also four reflection questions about their actual experience at the restaurant and their calculations.
The project can easily be printed and used immediately!
