Product Description

This resource is part of a series of vest displays designed to complement existing Animated Step-by-Steps® . This resource uses SymbolStix (n2y)

Vest Displays are a great way to add visual and symbol support to simple songs and stories used during Circle Time. A vest display is typically worn on a velcro-receptive apron or vest and has the advantage of simplifying joint attention by presenting communication content in line with the Facilitator’s face.

Lyrics
There are 5 detachable humps
on the camel when song begins
(count the humps before each verse)

Sally the camel has five humps
Sally the camel has five humps
Sally the camel has five humps
Velcro rider with photo face on the camel & move
camel +rider along length of monofilament L to R
as you sing …
So ride (Sally/child's name) ride.
Boom, Boom, Boom!

For subsequent verses:
Remove one hump
Repeat verse inserting the next lowest number

Last verse: 'no humps' verse
Add the last line …
So Sally is a horse of course.

The graphics required for the scene, manipulatives and symbol lines are included in this resource. This Sally the Camel Vest Display is designed to be personalized with photo faces of students. It can be used to work on numbers, colors, recognizing printed names/photo faces. For further information on the clinical use of this vest display resource: http://bit.ly/SallyCamelBlog
