Product Description
Need an idea for Family Reading Night? This Book or Dare game is the perfect fit to send home with the book Salt in His Shoes. The book is about Michael Jordan and has a great message! I used it as a mentor text.
The Book cards are questions over the book while the Dare cards are for students to make connections to the book.
There are 16 Book cards and 16 Dare cards so this game can be played over and over again.
Directions:
Create two stacks of cards- the Book stack (the basketball) and the Dare stack.
Play Rock, Paper, Scissors to see who goes first.
Pick a card from either stack, read it aloud, and answer it.
If the answer is acceptable, keep the card.
If the answer is unacceptable, return the card to the bottom of the stack.
Take turns.
The first player to get 5 cards is the winner. Or for a quick game, the first player to 3 cards is the winner.
This game is specifically for Salt in His Shoes book. Check out my Book or Dare game that can be used for any fiction book.
Happy gaming!
