Highlights of the unit include identifying three types of literary conflict as it relates to the four main characters, an information skills lesson on how to identify the author's purpose in Web information, a Google Earth Tour Builder lesson on the journey the main characters take, a comprehension quiz and questions for discussion or essay writing.
An answer key is included.
The preview includes the pdf version of the Google Earth Tour Builder lesson as well as the pdf version of the information skills lesson.
The actual novel study comes with a link to the Google Earth versions of all of the material so that a teacher can make a copy and edit.
