Use this material at the beginning of class as an easy segway to the part of the lesson. After students enter the classroom ask them to utilize journals to record the activity on the board, write the date, and follow instructions of the activity. Give five minutes for them to figure out answers to activities, then ask a volunteer to come up and share the answer on the board with the rest of the class. Finally play next slide for clarification if needed.
As a transitional activity, it would be ideal to present the material for a quick change of activity or while teacher is giving individualized attention to some students. This package will have the rest of the class working in an autonomous way or if desired as a group activity for vocabulary practice as well as oral skills in target language.
